When looking into a holiday park loyalty system, Sandy Balls Holiday Park found there was just one solution that met their diverse needs.

Sandy Balls Holiday Village is a five-star, award-winning site set in the heart of the beautiful New Forest. The park offers visitors a number of on site leisure facilities. Plus, there are hospitality venues and a country store.

We were approached by the park to deliver an EPoS solution that would work across all areas. This needed to include their leisure facilities.

Their previous EPoS system was fragmented across their different venues. They wanted to bring it all together to give them a clear picture of their operation from a single system.

Sandy Balls also wanted to introduce a holiday park loyalty system. They wanted something future proof that could be upgraded to a full cashless solution in the future.

We had the perfect system for them.

The installation

Given the broad spectrum of outlets including; retail, restaurants, bar, activity centre, bike hire and leisure facilities (including beauty and a spa). We introduced touch screen terminals running our Fidelity’s GPoS software. We next configured the screen layout for each outlet to work for their bespoke offering.

This customisation, based on a theme, not only enabled efficient customer service at each outlet, but it also reduced training time if staff moved into different areas. Each of the touch screens followed the same operating process.

All the touch screen sales data fed into the back office software in real time. The combining of all the management information for the park in one place made everyday management tasks much more efficient. For example, stock control, price changes and performance reporting could all be done in one place with a view of the whole park.

Holiday park loyalty system

From using the Fidelity ‘Instant Loyalty’ holiday park loyalty system package, Sandy Balls reward ‘Platinum Club’ members. These are owners of their premium lodges. They receive discounts and rewards for every purchase they make on site, as opposed to using outlets in the local vicinity. Members simply swipe their card when making purchases at the different outlets and the correct discount scheme is automatically applied.
